What Vereli does — and what it doesn't

Vereli recovers abandoned checkouts by having a real two-way conversation with your customer over SMS or email, and it only ever contacts people who gave you their details and agreed to hear from you.

What it does

What it deliberately doesn't do

Worth reading, because some of these are things similar apps do.

Who it's for

Australian Shopify merchants. Vereli sends from an Australian mobile number you control, because Australian SMS rules require a verified sender — see Setting up SMS.

If your store is outside Australia, Vereli is not the right app for you yet.

What it costs

Three plans, all with a 30-day free trial:

Every plan can send SMS on a number you already hold — that costs us no more than email does, so it is included from Base up. Having us run SMS for you is on Pro and Enterprise, and priced with you rather than listed. That is deliberate. SMS costs real money per message, and on top of that someone has to run a Twilio account and hold Australian regulatory standing for your number. We would rather agree a number that fits your volume than publish one and raise it later.

When you do add SMS, you choose who runs the messaging account: you bring your own Twilio account, or we run it for you. See Setting up SMS.

Both bill through Shopify, on the same invoice as your Shopify subscription. You approve the charge on Shopify's own confirmation page — Vereli cannot start or change a charge without you approving it there first.
